Complying with the ACA’s Employer Mandate can be challenging for organizations. As we enter the 10th year for reporting, there’s a lot to remember. Join RPI’s upcoming ACA Lunch & Learn to get caught up on organizational setup, ALE member/group formation, benefit plan preparation, employee hours & measurements, and generating the annual 1095-C reports.  

Don’t miss your chance to learn how to maximize compliance and minimize risk using Infor GHR’s benefits module. 

Individuals can attend a virtual session by paying a small one-time cost. The fee includes relevant workshop materials, three hours of in-depth training, and lunch.

Each session will begin at 11:00 AM EST and run until 3:00 PM EST, including a one-hour break for lunch. Attendees will receive a $25.00 Grubhub gift card to order lunch from a restaurant of their choosing.

Participants will have the opportunity to ask questions in real-time, work in sandbox environments, and have access to the instructor for hands-on support through the entirety of the session.

Organization Setup: Understand the intricacies of setting up your organizational details within the Infor GHR benefits module to ensure compliance with the ACA’s Employer Mandate. 

ALE Members/Groups Formation: Learn what constitutes an Applicable Large Employer (ALE) member and groups within the regulatory framework. 

Benefit Plan Preparation: Explore the nuances of configuring benefit plans that align with the ACA requirements, including Minimum Essential Coverage, Minimum Value, and affordability. 

Employee Hours & Measurements: Grasp the essential methods and measurements for tracking employee hours accurately, a critical factor in ACA compliance. 

Generate 1095-C Reports: Find out how to generate and manage ACA reports, particularly the 1095-C forms, to meet the IRS reporting and furnishing requirements. 

Matt Slazak

Matt Slazak is a Principal HCM Consultant with over two decades of experience in the Infor CloudSuite and Infor Lawson environments, including more than ten years implementing and using the Talent Management/Global HR systems. He joined RPI in September 2016 and has successfully piloted, supported, and facilitated clients through strategic implementations and transformational process improvements. Matt has managed diverse GHR system implementations and upgrades for clients in various industries and employee populations. In addition, he’s built hundreds of configuration changes and Process Flows, extending the use and abilities of the product to suit the system to the needs of the individual companies. 

Matt’s success in leadership, collaboration, and solution techniques has created lasting partnerships with clients and industry leaders. A frequent presenter at Inforum and many RPI webinars and Bootcamps, Matt is certified as a Global HR Consultant, Talent Planning Consultant, Compensation and Performance Consultant, Landmark Developer, and HR Payroll Associate. Brad Whitney

Brad Whitney is a Senior HCM Consultant located in Tampa, FL who has been with RPI since August 2022. Brad is a business professional with over thirty years of progressive responsibility in the field of Human Resources and eighteen years working with Infor Lawson technology. His responsibilities over the years have included customer retention, project management, technology integration, human resources, benefits, dispute resolution, training, talent development and leadership. These unique skills enable him to bridge the gap between the Human Resources, Finance, and Technology disciplines. He is respected by customers & peers for his commitment to driving results and transforming ideas into action. 

Prior to working at RPI, Brad spent his career rising through the ranks of a human resources outsourcing company, where he started as a HR professional and left as the Vice President of Benefits. In this role, he was accountable for the effective administration of corporate and client benefit offerings, in addition to benefits related vendor relationships. He integrated new technology and developed processes focused on the benefits arena to facilitate organizational goals.
