Having just gone live with CloudSuite reporting, Robert Barnes of Cumberland County, Ohio, attended RPI’s Birst Bootcamp with the goal of strengthening his skills with the application. He left with exactly that.
RPI Bootcamps put attendees directly in the system, working through the kind of tasks they’ll face back in the office. Under the guidance of instructor Lisa Callaghan, Robert spent his time in a hands-on training environment where he could tinker and experiment.
For Robert, that in-depth exposure made all the difference and the knowledge he gained could be directly applied to his county work.
When asked about his RPI Bootcamp experience, Robert said “This will be I think my fourth Bootcamp down here at RPI. It’s always been a very valuable experience getting to learn new things and learn about things I wouldn’t ordinarily look at and also get to talk with some consultants in the space and learn from them as well.”
Bootcamps are a great way to get hands-on instruction working with new tools. Attendees always leave with the confidence to put those skills to work in their own environments.
