Inside CloudSuite’s October 2026 CU: SCM Edition

We’re back with another round of goodies from Infor’s CloudSuite October 2026 Cumulative Update (CU).

The second stop on this week’s tour is Supply Chain Management (SCM), and Infor introduced a number of enhancements across inventory, purchasing, receiving, contract management, sourcing, payables, and recall handling that are all worthy of taking the time to explore. There’s also a new Par Transfer transaction that gives healthcare and other par-based organizations a direct way to move inventory between locations.

Plenty of updates, and one of them comes with a date worth marking on the calendar. Let’s get into it.

Key SCM Updates From the October 2026 CU

We’re pleased to bring you high-level explanations of some of the most significant SCM changes introduced via Infor’s October 2026 CU. Keep reading to get caught up.

Inventory / Par—Par Transfer Transaction:

A new Par Transfer transaction moves inventory directly from one Par Location to another in a single step, with FSM handling the related accounting automatically.

This enhancement is a real timesaver as it replaces the multi-step workarounds organizations tend to fall back on. One transaction instead of several, and one less place for the accounting to drift!

Requisitions / RSS—Catalog Search Sorting and Special Item Match:

RSS LPL catalog search results can now be sorted, with a default sort order configurable by Requester or Inventory Company. A new feature toggle also lets requesters search the catalog for a matching item when entering a special item. This addition closes a well-known gap with Legacy RSS, where requesters could already perform this action.

Purchasing—Region-Based PO Management:

Using Ship-To Location, buyers now gain visibility into Purchase Orders (POs), acknowledgements, and messages across their entire region, not just the ones assigned to them. This update encourages team-based buying and faster exception handling. Teams will no longer have to reassign a PO or dig through manual filters when the buyer who’s usually on it happens to be out. Greater visibility, simpler process and an easy win for SCM teams looking to reduce administrative workload.

Purchasing / P-Card—In-FSM Card Requests:

Prospective P-Card users can request a new card directly in FSM. Requests and card charges route through a multi-level approval workflow that adds the user’s manager as a secondary approver ahead of the P-Card administrator. This feature adds a layer of spend oversight and audit compliance, making reporting to an inevitable audit a lot less stressful.

EDI / Receiving—Multi-PO ASN Receipts and Carrier Tracking:

Inbound 856 (ASN) transactions covering multiple purchase orders now create a separate receipt for each PO. Carrier tracking numbers from the 856 and the receipt are also stored directly on the PO. Buyers can see tracking information without logging into a carrier site to go find it.

Receiving / Mobile Supply Chain—Handheld Receiving Upgrades:

Handheld users can perform PO inspections and generate delivery documents right from the device, capture digital images of packing slips during receipt, and make ad-hoc inventory adjustments while picking.

A new Packing Slip Automation Results screen shows which automatically attached packing slips succeeded or failed, with the ability to correct and reprocess. That’s a lot of small trips back to a desktop that no longer need to happen.

Contract Management—Available Tag and Contract Notifications:

Contracts, contract lines, and items now display an Available tag showing whether a contract can be used for cost defaulting and invoicing, and why. Expiring and expired contract lists are easier to reach, with optional notification emails to supplier contacts.

RSS also flags Quote-type contract pricing too. Contract teams get a clearer, earlier warning before a contract lapses instead of finding out at the invoice.

Contract Management—Contract Evaluations by Entity:

Contract Evaluations can now be created by entity, built from question-and-answer templates instead of scoring criteria, and generated automatically when a contract’s expiration date gets extended. That’s a more practical way to capture a real evaluation instead of a scoring exercise that carries little weight.

Sourcing / Supplier Management—OIG Exclusions List:

A new OIG Exclusions list on the Manage Suppliers page flags any supplier on the federal Office of Inspector General exclusion list, with a color-coded indicator right on the supplier record. Suppliers can also complete event line responses in a spreadsheet template and upload it with their bid.

For healthcare organizations, that’s compliance monitoring that used to require a separate check, now sitting right where a buyer already works.

Recall / Item Lifecycle Management—Handheld Recall Warnings:

Handheld devices now display recall warnings or hard stops when an item with an open recall notice gets scanned during par counts, kanban counts, replenishment, pick for par, and issues. Modified NRAC notices now show what changed, and FDA recall numbers are searchable.

A recalled item showing up mid-count is exactly the kind of thing you want caught at the scan, not after it’s already been used.

Cross-Module—Navigation Consolidation:

The “Other Modules” menu is being removed from Purchasing and Inventory, and Patient Charge Processing moves under the Inventory Manager menu. The new Requisitions menu and Infor’s scheduled maintenance (purge) jobs are becoming standard, since the option to keep those feature toggles off ends with 2026.10.

That last part is worth a note on your calendar. If your organization has been holding off on the new Requisitions menu or the purge jobs, this CU is the deadline. There’s no more toggling them off after this release.

Plenty of updates, and one of them removes an option you might have been relying on. That’s worth getting ahead of before the CU lands, not after.

Infor CloudSuite SCM October 2026 CU FAQ

What’s new for Supply Chain Management in Infor CloudSuite’s October 2026 CU?

The October 2026 CU adds multiple Supply Chain Management updates, covering inventory, purchasing, receiving, contract management, sourcing, payables, and recall handling. The most notable changes are a new Par Transfer transaction for moving inventory between par locations, region-based PO visibility for buyers, and an OIG Exclusions list on the supplier record.

How many SCM updates shipped in the October 2026 CU?

FSM 2026.10 includes several significant Supply Chain Management updates, spanning inventory and par management, purchasing, EDI and receiving, mobile supply chain, contract management, sourcing, payables, and recall handling. Several, like the handheld receiving upgrades, bundle multiple related changes into a single release item.

Is there a deadline in the October 2026 CU that Supply Chain teams need to know about?

Yes. The option to keep the new Requisitions menu and Infor’s scheduled maintenance (purge) jobs turned off ends with the October 2026 CU (FSM 2026.10). Both become standard starting with this release, along with the removal of the “Other Modules” menu from Purchasing and Inventory. Organizations that have been deferring these changes should plan for them now.

What does the new Par Transfer transaction do?

The Par Transfer transaction moves inventory directly from one Par Location to another in a single step, with FSM handling the related accounting automatically. It replaces the multi-step workarounds many healthcare organizations currently use to move par inventory, reducing both the number of steps and the chance of an accounting mismatch.

Who should review the October 2026 SCM CU notes before it goes live?

Buyers, contract administrators, payables teams, and receiving or par management staff all have something to check. Buyers should look at region-based PO management and the new P-Card request workflow, contract teams should review the Available tag and Contract Evaluations changes, and payables should confirm the multi-pay-group Cash Requirements and Vertex tax variance automation match their processes.
