Updating the Supplier Portal Homepage in Infor CloudSuite FSM

In this how-to, RPI Principal Consultant Stephanie Marquez walks you through updating the supplier portal homepage in Infor CloudSuite FSM, a feature that can be used to prevent costly miscommunications.

The supplier portal homepage is the first thing your suppliers see when they access the system, whether they’re registering for the first time or managing an existing account. Keeping that welcome message current, especially around office closures, holiday hours, or other time-sensitive information ensures your suppliers always have the full picture before they reach out.

Updates to the portal homepage are typically handled by an application administrator or supply chain administrator. Using a profile with administrator permissions, navigate to Shared, then Supplier Group Setup, and select the Portal Homepage tab. From there, you can edit the existing content directly by adding a header & updating your message.

Once saved, validate your changes in two ways: use the breadcrumbs to navigate back to Supplier Group Setup and confirm the message appears, then access the supplier portal directly to verify the update is visible on the live homepage. If you don’t have direct portal access, we recommend making a quick call to a supplier to confirm the message is displayed correctly.

Stephanie Marquez

Hi everyone, my name is Stephanie Marquez, Principal Supply Chain Consultant here at RPI Consultants. In today’s how-to video, we’re going to take a couple of minutes and show you how to update your supplier portal welcome homepage. It’s usually one of those areas within the application that, once supplier portal has been implemented, we tend to set it and forget it — but there may be a need to update that information from time to time.

Typically the resource within your organization who would facilitate that update would be an application administrator or a supply chain administrator. Today we’re going to be working out of our application administrator role. Select Shared to access your Supplier Group Setup, then navigate over to Supplier Portal, or the Portal Homepage tab. This is showing you behind the scenes what the portal homepage looks like to your suppliers — when they access the system, whether they’re registering for the first time or visiting their account, this is the welcome message they see.

Something you might want to update on your portal homepage could be upcoming holiday hours. It’s summertime and the 4th of July is right around the corner, or maybe it’s the winter holidays — you want to let your suppliers know when your offices are going to be closed. I’m going to select a Header Two and update it with an upcoming holiday notice and my message.

My message is complete — I’m letting our suppliers know that our office will be closed July 3rd in observance of the 4th of July holiday. I’m going to go ahead and select Save. I always encourage people to validate any changes they make to the application. Use your breadcrumbs to navigate back to Shared Setup, select Supplier Group Setup, and confirm the message is there.

Something else I’d encourage you to do is access your supplier portal directly to verify the update is visible on the live homepage. If you don’t have direct portal access, a quick call to a supplier to confirm the message is displaying correctly works just as well.

It’s really quite straightforward, and it doesn’t hurt to have a helpful reminder on how to update group setup within the application. Stay tuned for future videos as we cover other how-to topics to give you some quick wins or a refresher on where to find certain information within the system. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us at questions@rpic.com and your question will be directed to the most appropriate individual. Thanks so much.
