Baltimore, MD (June 5th, 2015) — RPI Consultants, a software and professional services consulting firm, has opened a new office in Lakeland, FL. The new office is a result of RPI’s rapidly expanding Lawson Technical Practice and the cluster of technical consultants within the region. The office will serve as meeting space for the collaborative efforts of highly knowledgeable Lawson technical resources.
RPI team members who will leverage the new Lakeland Office include: Carl Seay, Richard Stout, Benjamin Hardin, Gary Padgett, Rob Marshall, Josh Brunson and John Wade. They represent an extensive and diverse set of IT backgrounds in Lawson technology, database management, systems administration, programming, and automation. The team has worked on Lawson’s latest solutions including Landmark, Ming.le, LSF10, IPA, Smart Office and ISS across Windows, Unix and iSeries environments.
RPI’s newest Senior Technical Consultants – Chip Cunningham and Jeff House – who both reside just outside the Tampa, FL metropolitan area plan to leverage the new office as well. Both have a long history of consulting in the Lawson space and have previously worked as Lawson Technical Architects for healthcare organizations in Florida.
Certified in Lawson installation and administration, Mr. Cunningham is an expert in Lawson systems on both Windows/MS-SQL and Unix/Oracle platforms. With experience managing people and projects and implementing large scale enterprise systems and comprehensive knowledge of the application stack from OS to user interface, Chip has been helping Lawson customers make the most of their technology investment for over ten years as a technical lead, architecture manager, integration architect, systems administrator, systems analyst, and programmer. Previous to joining RPI, Mr. Cunningham was a Technical Lead at Ciber, Enterprise Architecture Manager at Lakeland Regional Medical Center and Senior Systems Analyst at Platform one – supporting multiple customers on Lawson.
Also joining the Florida technical group is Project Manager and Senior Consultant Maureen Vance. Mrs. Vance is a PMP certified professional with over 20 years of experience who comes to RPI after working for the University of Central Florida.
“Seeing the growth of RPI’s technical team over the last few years has been very exciting. I’m ecstatic to work with so many talented consultants, many of which I’ve known for a long time, and this office is a big step towards building a first-class Lawson technical services organization that is collaborative, dynamic and responsive,” said Carl Seay, Senior Lawson Technical Consultant and head of RPI’s Lawson technical group.
This new RPI office is located at 1413 Tech Blvd Suite 211, Tampa, FL 33619. RPI Headquarters still remains in Baltimore, MD. RPI Consultants has an additional office located in Kansas City, Missouri.
