What is RPI’s Integrations Bootcamp?
Infor CloudSuite offers multiple ways to build and manage ERP integrations, but choosing the right tool for the job is not always straightforward. Hosted at RPI’s HQ in Baltimore, MD, this Infor ERP Integrations Bootcamp is designed to help participants understand the many options available.
Rather than focusing on theory alone, the workshop uses hands-on exercises to compare how different integration tools handle the same interface. Participants will see firsthand where each tool performs well, where it introduces complexity, and how factors like performance, maintainability, and use case should influence tool selection.
Led by RPI’s experienced consultants, this bootcamp walks through integration development using IPA, ION, Configuration Console, and File Creation Utility, giving attendees practical experience they can apply when building and supporting integrations in their own CloudSuite environments.
Topics Covered
During the training, you’ll get hands-on experience with Infor integration tools, including:
- When to use IPA, ION, Configuration Console, and File Creation Utility
- Designing and building integrations using multiple tools to support interfaces
- Evaluating performance, maintenance, and scalability tradeoffs
- Configuring ION flows, documents, and connections for inbound/outbound
- Using IPA for workflow-driven integrations and event-based processing
