Good morning, everybody, and welcome to Clocked In and Covered — our April CU update for Infor WFM Time and Attendance. Thank you for joining. My name is Nate Vanderboon. I’m a senior business analyst here at RPI. These are our most exciting features for the April 2025 release, and we’ll be going over some of those features right now.

Starting with the weekly timesheet: we now have a bi-weekly option for bi-weekly organizations to show 14 days at a time instead of the standard seven. This is set based on the anchor date within the registry parameters.

This is what the new bi-weekly view looks like. You can see from Monday through the following Sunday — 14 days at a time.

Another weekly timesheet enhancement is labor metrics. We now have the ability to show labor metrics on the left side, so for organizations that prefer to see their job departments and similar fields on the left, that is now configurable within those registry settings.

For the daily timesheet: we now have the ability to auto-expand work details. For organizations that want to search an employee in the daily timesheet and automatically have all those days expand to show work details, this is now configurable within a registry setting as well — the DTS Auto Expand Work Details setting. This will expand in the Supervisor Approval Worksheet, Supervisor Summary, Pay Period Summary, Employee Dashboard, and Team Dashboard.

This is what the auto-expand feature looks like. You type in your employee or search criteria, select Load, and those details automatically expand.

Supervisor Approval Worksheet enhancements: there is now a My Team Only toggle, giving you the ability to view just your team when that is checked. There is also a new approved count for each day, shown in the columns above. All workers on the team will display as approved, and you get an approved summary count at the bottom.

A new proxy feature: this allows users to see the full name of the person they’re proxying in as, rather than their employee ID. For people who are newer to the organization or less familiar with employee IDs, it’s a nice ease-of-use enhancement.

Time off requests and approval: there are a lot of new features for the Time Off Request and Approved Time Off pages. Employee balances are now displayed in the Add Time Off Request pop-up, so you can see in real time what your current balance and remaining balance will be after selecting the time off type.

Within the Request Time Off screen, you also now have the ability to default time off to a partial day or a full day using the field UI configuration. This is handy for organizations that only allow full or partial days to be requested.

In the Approved Time Off screen, you now have the ability to approve or deny multiple requests at the same time using the checkbox on the left side. You can select the checkbox for a specific row — for either the team or an individual employee — and it will approve or deny those requests based on your selection in the top right. Or you can select the top-left checkbox to approve or deny everyone within the calendar view.

There are now expanded sorting and filtering options within the Approved Time Off page. You can pull up individual employees, filter by time code — vacation, sick, bereavement, and so on — and filter to show only employees with no requests using the checkbox at the bottom. For sorting, you can sort by full name alphabetically or reverse alphabetically, by earliest to latest submitted or the reverse, and by seniority date in either direction for organizations that use seniority when making scheduling decisions.

Within display options, you now have the ability to show or hide the legend. If you know what all the icons mean and want more screen space, you can toggle it off. If you’re unfamiliar with a new icon, you can always toggle it back on.

You can also view balances within the Time Off Manager. Within the Approved Time Off screen, you can select that icon to view employee balances in real time — a list of current and remaining balances, easy to reference for supervisors and timekeepers.

There is a new balance column that allows you to display a specific balance within the calendar view of the Approved Time Off Manager, giving supervisors another quick reference point for making decisions.

Users can now also see balance information when requesting on behalf of an employee. Earlier we saw that when requesting your own time off, you can view your balance. You now have that same visibility into an employee’s balance when making a request on their behalf.

For grouping: if your organization uses preferred jobs, you now have the option to group by preferred job. Employees without a preferred job assigned will fall into an “Unspecified” category.

Another simple but useful ease-of-use enhancement is the Add Time Off shortcut. When you’re on the Approved Time Off screen as a manager and need to add a request for an employee, you can right-click on the cell for the relevant day and select Add Time Off directly — a quick way to add time off without extra navigation.

There’s also a new toggle to view time codes within the Approved Time Off grid, giving more context around what is being requested and the time off type the employee selected.

The Override Pending Time Off feature is for timekeepers or supervisors making a decision when an employee has outstanding pending requests. With this checkbox enabled, those pending requests are automatically set to denied, and the request submitted on behalf of the employee by the supervisor is approved.

There is now the ability to add a disclaimer or custom message at the bottom of the Add Time Off Request within the Request Time Off page, so organizations can display a message for employees to see at the time of submission.

Rule enhancement: with the split time configured in the rule, this now allows for multiple split times within the same KELP group. For organizations with one large KELP group that covers a wide range of employment types or employees but with different split times, you now have the flexibility to configure different split times within that same group.

Data Migration: the Data Migration tool is getting a couple of nice enhancements. First, the Changed column: within the tool, you’ll now be able to see what data has changed, including the old value and new value, with the record marked accordingly. You can filter this column the same as any other, making it easy to view all changes in one spot.

You also have the option to deselect or skip individual records coming in. You no longer have to import all changes — you have more flexibility and control over what gets migrated.

Job Scheduler: within the task log of the Job Scheduler, these logs can get quite lengthy. Instead of scrolling to the bottom each time and hitting Refresh, there is now a Refresh button at the top. The Previous, Next, Return, and Refresh controls have been duplicated at the top for easier navigation — a simple but welcome quality-of-life improvement.

Reporting: there are some solid new reporting enhancements. First, the Employment Type field. Within the Time Code by Employee report, the Time Code by Team report, the Work Summary report, the Overtime report, and the Work In and Out report, you now have the ability to filter by employment type — employee, contractor, seasonal, and so on.

An As Of Date option has been added to the Employee Information report and the Employee Seniority report, allowing you to pull the report as of a specified date.

Improved Excel usability: when exporting reports to Excel, team names were previously merged across cells, which made filtering more difficult. They are no longer merged, making it easier to filter and manipulate the data in Excel.

Report time will now display in the user’s time zone — another nice quality-of-life change.

And that’s all we have for today. We have time for a couple of questions.

The first question: “I saw the Show Balance Column on the Approved Time Off page — it looks beneficial. How do we turn that on?” I’ll show you how to toggle the Show Balance Column on and off. We’ll go into config mode within our environment, then navigate to the Approved Time Off page to see its current state. From there, we go into config mode, select the Display Options config, find the Show Balance Column setting, change the security to Act, and hit Save. Close the window, turn off config mode, go back into Approved Time Off, select Display Options, and the Show Balance Column option is now there. You can enable it and it will appear in the calendar view.

The second question: “In the bi-weekly view of the weekly timesheet, if you select the date forward, will it move two weeks or one week?” If you’re in the bi-weekly view and you select Next, it will go two weeks forward.

I think that’s all we have time for today. If there are any questions I didn’t get to, please submit them to questions@rpic.com and we’ll send you back an answer from that email. Thank you so much for joining. I hope this was beneficial for everyone — have a great rest of your day.
